Black Cat: Volume 15: Eve Attacks

by Kentaro Yabuki, 183 pages

The remaining sweepers get separated from one another and reach the shores of Creed's island. Train and River bump into one another on the way to the villain's hideout and team up against the gravity-wielding and erosion-encouraging Apostles who come out to greet them. Meanwhile, Eve and Kevin are up against Leon, a lonely boy who controls the wind with deadly force. Can Eve convince him to walk away from Creed and his hollow promises before one of them gets killed?

Eve's gotten quite proficient with her nano-agent-fueled transformations and puts them to good use. She's also gained a lot of wisdom from her own experiences and can see that Leon is not so different from what she once was, before she was saved by Sven and Train. And now it's her turn to do the saving.
