This one has been reviewed many times on the blog (hence my wanting to see what all the buzz was about) and I pretty much have the same thoughts as everyone else. A good "be careful what you wish for" story that's funny, spooky, and increasingly suspenseful up to the very end. Also, it made for a nice crunchy-leaved October read.
