After Jen telling me about this author forever, I finally read one of her books! It's a nice blend of romance and magical realism and I would recommend this to readers who enjoy woman's fiction with a bit of magic. The ending is a bit simple and there were some storylines I felt the book could do without-for most of the book I didn't know why I needed to know about or care about Emma and her husband. There is one small point in the end that ties everything together, but this could have been taken out. I did enjoy it though and I'd love to have some of the Waverly's magical cooking! I'll read more from this author.
