Science girl Kate is the last person one would expect to chase after zombies. But when the football team is struck by a mysterious zombie virus and everyone is after her, Kate is the one that must come to the teams rescue. I never would have thought I'd come across a zombie chick lit novel, but that's the best way to describe Bad Taste in Boys! There's lots of humor and Kate is a great character to cheer for. She has a lot of snark, which I liked. There's also a bit of romance, which might be hard to imagine in the middle of a zombie crisis. Good for readers who want a lighter zombie novel.
