by Susan Elizabeth Phillips, 370 pages
Molly Somerville has just dyed her hair an appalling shade of red. This is not a good sign considering every drastic hair change in her past has shortly been followed by erratic behavior... like pulling the fire alarm in high school. Still Molly thinks she can handle her restlessness this time by getting out of town. That is until Kevin Tucker, quarterback of the Chicago Stars and her longtime crush, shows up at her sister's vacation home after being fined for going sky-diving in the middle of the season, and Molly's familiar urge for trouble pops up again.
Phillip's books are usually fun, with quirky characters, outrageous situations, and laugh out loud moments. This one has the added bonus of heartfelt, emotional scenes and some fabulous side characters. Good for contemporary romance fans who enjoy a young, snappy story.
